Interesting stuff, but it lacks sufficient attribution. I appreciate the humor and the way it challenges common ideas, but I think the public really needs to learn to discern the best solutions to these sorts of errors by weighing multiple credible sources of information- much like a journalist would.
It’s easy to spread unattributed (or plagiarized) information, but it’s much more difficult (and useful to the reader) to communicate information with multiple, credible attributions. That said, sorry to be lame and serious about a fun video.
I loved it, except one thing: doctors don’t have machines that look at the parts of the brain. WE (humankind) “have” those machines. It’s not only doctors who utilize them (I can guarantee they’re not the ones pulling patients from gurney or bed to the machine, for example) or who look at the results of the scans. Fun fact: the MRI was created partly by a chemist (not a medical doctor).
love it, I laughed so hard at the last one. great job on the bottled water, most people have no idea “drinking water”=bottled tap water. Also love the starcraft bases in south korea!:-)
Ahhh!! One of my best friends is from South Korea and she is ALWAYS freaking out if I leave a fan/AC on all night… and I never understood how swirling the air around a room would use it all up?
The spider one would have creeped me out more if they hadn’t used such an adorable cartoon. Isn’t that the spider from the joke email some guy sent a company as payment?
I like spiders. I make agreements with them that they can live in my car as long as they don’t distract me while I’m driving. They obey, and all is well.
It was all good until the last one and then it had to go and ruin my day.
Ruined your day?! I watched it just before going to sleep with the words “eight is far too low an estimate” ringing in my head.
Ditto. This is not going to be a pleasant evening…..
The last one is the best!

Pedantic much?

I didn’t notice the bases!! Very nice touch. :D
I agree #1 is the best! Hahahahahaha

I’m going to post this to her now :P

Ack! Why? Why? Why did you have to end with that one? *gag*
Tap water is unregulated in many places in America since… http://cleanwater.org/page/fracking-laws-and-loopholes
Good try though.
