Scary close-up of an alligator’s cousin

While scouting the Amazon basin for wildlife, Swiss photographer Franco Banfi spotted a caiman and decided to take a dip with it in the hope that he could take some incredible pictures of these mighty reptiles in their natural environment. Little did he know that there were in fact three of the beasts in the water and as he became aware of the two behind him he wisely retreated from their home as soon as he could.

I think wisdom would discourage entering the water with 1 toothy-reptile, much less 3.
