They left off “do you live in an upstairs apartment and play drums?” In which case, the answer is NO. I had a neighbor like that. Boy, was it nice to move into our first house!
Practicing will get you nowhere, If you call it practicing you are never going to get it sorted. If you fancy PLAYING get out there and PLAy and book yourself a gig even if its only a busk next saturday under the market arch.
There’s nothing like a deadline to get you playing. But if its practicing give up now. Practice is just another word for putting off something you don’t want to do. Play now! but only iof you want too.
I think that is very correct… I’ve been playing for a year, 2 hours a day every day… about 6 months ago I mastered flight of the bumble bee, and a couple other songs… I also play 7 other instruments and doing well on all of them…
Aww, man! I didn’t even get a chance!
(I’m a musician)

You can’t be playing gigs worth anything if you haven’t practiced your set first.

Just remember, it takes 10,000 hours of doing something before you master it. How far along are you on that number? ;)
