Bonus: While you squirm watching this guy risk life and limb, he provides a brief lesson on each of these creatures…

    No thanks. Coffee worked.

  2. Emil says:

Wow! This is awesome! I’ve always liked spiders, no matter how poisonous, and this guy just made me like them even more! I mean, they are so fascinating, right? :)

      • Emil says:

No? Why not? There is so much you can learn about spiders. So many different types of spiders, different hunting-behaviours… ;)

        • charley says:

well, what to say here? NO. we have plenty of both where i live, i grew up under orders, at pain of death, not to approach. i can learn all i need about spiders and their behavior on science and discovery channels… why borrow trouble; remember what happened when (mental fart, was her last name Fox?) french kissed a snake? it bit her on her breast implant.

    • Kirsty says:

I like spiders too. (Though I don’t think you get poisonous ones in the UK)

  3. AStev says:

    Observations:
    – I was hoping the spiders would fight each other.
    – For some reason I thought brown recluses were larger than that. I am slightly more paranoid now.
    – Every year I have to kill a few black widows that set up shop right outside my front door. Hate them.

  4. Wyeth says:

This makes my skin crawl. I can’t stand spiders.

Please STOP posts like this! “Creepy” is not one of the four Cs listed on 22 words, not why I subscribe to you… Nightmares!! AAACCCKKK! :-P

  6. Caleb says:

This is the only 22 Words video that I haven’t been able to finish watching, and that says a lot.

  7. slayerwulfe says:

A 23 foot anaconda and a 200 pound jaguar locked in combat,I touch both of them. Do you think they would even notice me. The magicians trick of misdirection, these two spiders are more concerned about each other than what they are standing on. If this guy wants to hold a single spider, like a wandering, I would gladly watch.

  8. Becky says:

Why does he end the video in front of a couple of elves at the mall? I found that more creepy than the spiders.

  9. dude who hates spiders says:

I bet you I will still kill one the next time I see it, no matter which species it is.

  10. ED... says:

What I learned from this video: spider bites cause hair loss.

  11. Brooke says:

well my fear has more to do with where spiders are while I’m sleeping… You could easily roll over onto a spider, causing it to bite you. Whereas if you are awake, you could simply avoid the spider.

  12. WTF says:

Isn’t that only a male black widow? Far less dangerous, far smaller…

  13. JonoC says:

I’m glad he added the warning. I was *so* close to trying this for myself.

Things I learned: Spider-spray will not kill but only enrage the spider.

He didn’t mention if the same is true for when I hold a lit match near the nozzle…
