Saxophonist plays percussion, bass, solo, and “vocal” parts all at once
Musician Colin Stetson breaks down the four discrete parts that are all happening at once in his saxophone and throat when he plays his song “Judges.”
(If you’re not into this style of music, you may feel like you’re being tortured, but you’re not alone. Once Stetson starts playing all these parts at once, it looks like he’s being tortured, too.)

Sure puts “pat your head and rub your tummy” in perspective…
I’ve seen this guy perform live with Bon Iver, amazing saxophonist! Wouldn’t be surprised to see him on SNL this weekend with Bon Iver.
It sounds like the background music for a suspenseful scene in a jungle.
That was pretty awful sounding. Hope he didn’t spend too much time learning to do it.
Also, topping off the amazing-ness, is the fact that he is circle-breathing… Most people can’t do that, even without an instrument!
