Translating the image is actually easier than you might think. Doesn’t require a bunch of complicated math. A projector is positioned where the viewer will be observing from and the desired image is projected at the targeted area for use as a template. It must have been pretty tedious painting.
I’ve painted a mural on a wall using a projector and the tiny shift that the projector would make everyone someone walked by it makes me agree that this would definitely be a tedious job!
