Norman Rockwell’s “Puppy Love” mashed up with Star Wars

James Hance, creator of “relentlessly cheerful art,” has paid tribute to Norman Rockwell by placing childhood versions of Han Solo and Princess Leia and a stuffed-animal version of Chewbacca into the scene of Rockwell’s painting “Boy and Girl Gazing at Moon (Puppy Love).”

    I was half expecting a blaster or whatever they call them in Star Wars to be sticking out of Han’s back pocket. Oh well!
