Bison licks a bird

From The Telegraph…
This plucky little bird was given a good licking when it dared to venture near a massive bison. The brown-headed cowbird was feeding on insects when the towering beast gently touched it with her tongue…
Photographer Tin Man Lee captured the moment at Yellowstone National Park.

You just know that bird’s gonna end up with a bad case of buffalo wings. :-(
is this like licking a frog to a human?
This is too beautiful.
UMMMMM Tastes just like chicken. ;)
I’ve never licked a bird. If I was a bison given the opportunity, I’d lick a bird. Simple.
I love the textures of this photo. From the wooly bison face to the bird feathers.
The open beak makes it look like the bird is telling the bison where to put the tongue for a nice back scratch.
Are you sure the bison did not open its mouth and eat the bird immediately after this photo was taken?
This was simply a game of truth or dare gone terribly wrong…
