Real-life Batman improves life for a small Slovak town

Zoltan Kohari lives in the town of Dunajska Streda and has become known as the Slovak Batman.

He is 26 and lives alone in an abandoned building without water, heat, or electricity.

Every day he dresses in his homemade, leather Batman suit and patrols the neighborhood, helping out old folks, picking up litter, and calling the police if anything seems suspicious.

He knows that some people around town think he’s nuts, but doesn’t mind since his neighbors like and trust him.

Jana Kocisova, a mother of two who lives in the building next to Kohari’s, says, “He’s had a tough life but he is very dependable and we like him. He helps us out, keeps an eye on public order, and he is a hero for my son and his schoolmates.”

That guys is awesome.
In comics now, there is a group called “Batman, Incorporated.” Basically, Batman finances different “Batmen” around the globe to fight crime in their homelands using the Bat emblem and ethos. Maybe this guy’s story will get to some execs and writers at DC, and they’ll put him in the new ‘Batman, Inc.’ comic series starting up in June.
Or he’ll be sued for copyright infringement. I can see it going either way.
Either way? WOW, you’re an optimist if you can see it going the way that Caleb described. ;-)
people in hollywood should send this guy a real batman leather suit. he does more for Batman© pr than the movie itself…
I know if I was a big name at DC, I would be shipping him a whole batman suit with utility belt, gadget and other things he needed, not having water heat or electricity, but hey, that’s just me…
Someone give this guy a decent costume, he deserves to look the part!
Reminds me of Emperor Norton I of San Francisco in 1890s.
