“Christopher Walken” “reads” “Where the Wild Things Are”

It’s so common for people to do impressions of Christopher Walken that I have no idea if the video below is really him. But since Walken is almost a parody of himself, it doesn’t really matter.

So, assuming this is indeed Christopher Walken, then here is Christopher Walken’s interpretation of Maurice Sendak’s Where the Wild Things Are. He reads the text of the book, of course, and also offers his own thoughts on and descriptions of the images…

“…and the trees in the water, that’s CRAZY. I don’t know who would put trees in the water!” haha…loved it.

Didn’t think I’d be able to watch that for almost 10 minutes, but I was busting my gut the whole time(and for something on the internet to make me audibly laugh is saying a lot)!
Loved the part about ‘there are bugs on the earth..oh wait – they’re plants…with bug ears.’
Calling all the monsters bastards, the kid a jerk, the king stick, etc. etc….this video is great, as is Christopher Walken.

I wouldn’t call him a parody of himself. That phrase only works for ridiculous or stupid people. People who aren’t AWESOME. He’s the him that everyone wants to be. When people do impressions, they’re honoring him. :D

I think its not Walken, but it is a good imitation.
