    Looks more like they had to mount them like that, given the case they are on.

    They’ve been this high for such a long time. And it works; comfortably-placed TVs always have lines of kids, from what I’ve seen. But at Walmart, it’s to the point where it’s unusable except for very tall people.

    maybe they just didn’t want to block the merch they’re trying to push, eh?

      I think, really, their target market is the adults. So they make the screens easier for them to view. If they were lower, the games aisle would become where parents would dump off their children so they could grocery shop in peace.

      If it were more comfortable for him to play the games – he’d never leave.

      But, now that I think about it: I rarely see those things functional anyway.
