These thousands of frenzied catfish will haunt your dreams
On the outskirts of the city of Jaisalmer, in India, is Gadsisar Lake, a man-made reservoir from 1400 A.D. With its wide array of temples and shrines, it is an attraction for many tourist trips and pilgrimages.
As you rest between visits to the Gate of Tillon or Lord Vishnu’s statue, feel free to feed the catfish.

If you have the stomach for it after seeing these pics (and I hope you do, because this is the craziest thing you’ll see today) watch this video of the feeding frenzy. It is absolutely disgustingly fascinating….

lol @ “Don’t swim in this lake”.
Crazy? Looks like supper time at our house with our kids.
My stomach…
Ducks are cuter.
This reminds me of the place where my family will sometimes go over the summer…Smith Mountain Lake. There’s this one marina with a jillion carp, and they get fed by the tourists so they flock to it by the thousands (not exaggerating here). My little brother walked on their backs once during a feeding frenzy, and his shoes didn’t get wet (although he was terrified).
Hillbilly handfishin’ needs to do a special episode here
Exactly my thoughts.
Looks like the Boardwalk in Kemah, Texas, only Kemah has a roller coaster and cotton candy and a great Mexican resturant.
The 3rd pic looks like they are smiling!
Looks like the carp in Pymatuning Dam, Crawford County here in Pennsylvania
As I was watching the video I kept saying to myself “This is disgusting, I need to turn it off.” I said it over and over until the video ended.
ummmmm. Unprocessed fish sticks.
Pardon me as I go throw up :{ Can you imagine what it would be like if you fell in there???
I am permanently frowning.
Lol, can you imagine how happy some fisherman might be if he found this? To me they look like fat eels squirming around when they swim on tp of each other.
The fish don’t bother me at all, but that water is disgusting.
