Surprise concert from the Copenhagen Philharmonic on the subway
In April 2012 Copenhagen Phil surprised the passengers in the Copenhagen Metro by playing Griegs Peer Gynt…. All music was performed and recorded in the metro.

Yes, the smiles–even of the “cool dudes” with the earplugs–did bring tears to my eyes. Of course, I have always loved that piece of music. What a delicious surprise for the passengers. What a wonderful gift from the musicians! They were smiling, too.
