To my surprise, watching this made me feel sort of meh about this movie. What about you?

  1. Jeff K. says:

Oh, I don’t know. Aside from the Humanoid-Lizard thing it looks halfway entertaining.

  2. The creature does look cartoony, but the rescue of the child from the falling car was intense.

  3. Mary says:

My first sensation on viewing the trailer was “They’re doing this AGAIN this soon?!!” and from that point on I was underwhelmed with the whole business.

  4. Andrew says:

Maybe it’s just not possible to create a good spider-man movie.

  5. Thomas says:

If any of you had ever read the spider-man comics you would be excited about this movie. This is the first spider-man movie that has stayed true to the comics.

  6. They tipped their hand — looks like they paid much more attention to the 3-D than anything else. I went from pretty interested (based on earlier trailers) to meh.

  7. Darren says:

“I’ve made enemies, powerful enemies… well one enemy really, his name is, Mark Zuckerberg!”

  8. I’m actually excited about this movie after seeing trailers and previews. After the last few Spidey movies, I had a bad taste in my mouth with their bad adaptations, worthless changes from the original series, and placement of Sandman as almost a secondary villain. But bringing in the Lizard, this is exciting, plus the movie just looks better than the last few were. Dark Peter in 3, just bad…

  9. Lee Shelton says:

Spidey was my childhood hero, so I’ll be seeing this one. No one who remembers the ridiculous 1970s TV series can complain about the movies.

  10. Andrew says:

“Most anticipated film of the year” LOL

  11. I’m gonna have to take issue with their claim that this is the most anticipated film of the summer. Pretty sure that title belongs to The Dark Knight Rises.

    • I don’t even think it could be the second most anticipated with the Avengers this summer (unless you call it spring on a technicality).
      1. Dark Knight
      Avengers
      Spidey
      (with room in between possibly)

  12. Carla says:

The summer’s most anticipated film? Really? You mean people are dying to see this more than “The Dark Knight Rises”?

  13. Lauren says:

    Andrew Garfield >>>>>>>>>Tobey Maguire
