Turtles catching rides on the backs of alligators

This photo was taken at Sea World in San Antonio, which might explain why the alligators aren’t crunching the turtles up for breakfast.
I’m not sure whether turtles piggy-back on alligators in the wild, but if they do, it’s no one’s fault but their own when this happens…

Now if there was just a frog jumping between them all, then my childhood dream of seeing a real life Frogger would come true!
Win! ^^
Yikes. I could’ve done without the second picture. :( I was happily imagining a fantasy world of them getting along.
Maybe the second one is rescuing his friend, who got hurt, and his only way of picking him up is by using his mouth?
well… i guess it would explain why the turtle is not crushed yet.
