turn off the blower. There is a blower that blows air in through the bottom and as it travels up thruogh the collector, it warms up and re-enters the home through a vent. Turn off the blower and the air flow stops.
These would blow the top off the market here in NZ! We do solar heating on swimming pools and campervans and we would use them so I’m sure the houses would too!

It’s technically not a solar panel, but a solar thermal collector. It produces heat, not electricity.
