Skaters happen to record a 5,500-pound cement slab fall onto a bus
A couple weeks ago, skateboarder Jaasir Linger and his friends were skating and filming in Amsterdam when they caught a major crane accident in the background.

Even in Amsterdam, they say “Holy Sh!t.”
if i were a betting man i would guess this is fake. the camera pans up slightly; the skater looks at the crane, as if they expected it. I’m not positive… but i feel the odds are better than 50/50 that this was staged.
you can hear it creaking, i’d have looked over too.
this seems to perfect…if i had to i’d bet it was fake or at least set up.
I don’t know where this exactly is, but certainly NOT in Amsterdam, even NOT in the Netherlands. This is a belgian bus from “de Lijn” (simply translated to “the line”) Wich only drives in Belgium, more specific in the Flemish region.
It’s cant be fake. Look at the chain that holds the slab bounce up after impact. Everything looks too realistic. And the sounds are very realistic.

I am a 3D effects artist and I can assure you this is completely real.
I don’t know if it’s a testament to visual FX these days, or a sign of the times that the first thing you lot consider is whether it is fake or not.
First thing I thought was, shit….i hope the driver was on his break.

exactly. i’m not saying it’s faked or CGI. i’m just saying, i feel like it might be staged. Skateboarding videos have skits in them sometimes, and this feels like a rough clip from a skit they were working on. But maybe not
And the fact that they turned off comments on the video makes one wonder
I think if it were staged, at least staged by the skateboarders, they would have done something more impressive with their skateboarding skills…just in case it went viral.
