Dad makes fun of his son’s skinny jeans while his sisters try not to laugh
This father isn’t a fan of his kid’s style and has a few words to say about it. After awhile even the kid getting mocked can’t keep a straight face.
(A few of you are going to think he’s a terrible dad for being so mean to his innocent offspring…which adds a whole ‘nother level of amusement for the rest of us.)
* * * * *

Well if the shoe fits… err pants don’t fit, wear it.
Frickin FUNNY..
We need more DADS with his conviction! Bravo!
Okay, at least his pants aren’t hanging off his ass. “You is”? The dad needs to learn English.
I would prefer skinny jeans. WTF is wrong with that guy? The kid isn’t acting like a ******.
It looked like they were hanging below his but actually. His vernacular is not surprising, just like every time I hear someone say “axed” when they mean “asked”, I just try to ignore it.
*butt
He is speaking English: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AAVE
And yes, he is an a**hole.
haha, the kid’s attempts to squat just killed me
its like a 2012 version of the cosby show. i can totally see dr. heathcliff huxtable gettin all up in theo’s grill.
the fact that the kid is not arguing with his dad and laughing makes it easier to appreciate this dad and his disdain for pants that hang that low. i know i used to wear pants that hung low, or, i wore my boxers high, i don’t remember. i grew out of it.
Cosby. Yes!
How to parent using shame and intimidation…and a video camera and the internet. (Wondering who bought him the pants in the first place?)
Before anyone else judges the dad in the video, stop and think for a moment that this very same type of exchange is the center of 99% of sitcoms on American TV these days – and yet, on the show, it’s funny. Hmmm…
Embarrassing for the teen? Definitely. Did it get the dad’s point across? Most assuredly. The method may have been lacking, but at least the father was doing something about a fashion style of which he didn’t approve.
Was the teen actually embarrassed? He was laughing. My parents and I interacted this way all the time. We had/have a great relationship.
Well, I thought he was embarassed, but not in the shameful kind of way. And yay, Chelsi – I could say the same! :)
this was hilarious! some people need to get off of their high horse and be real….”the dad needs to learn english”… that’s ridiculous. Anyways, I give this Dad two thumbs up for actually caring about his son’s appearance, most fathers nowadays aren’t even present in their children’s adolescence, much less give a freak about what they wear.
