Mouse in a tight spot
After looking into this poor creatures little eyes, would you help it get away or hope the cat catches it?

(In case you’re wondering the person who took the pic says the mouse escaped…for now.)

That’s a tough one. We set traps to catch the mice, and yet when faced with the possibility of watching them being caught and eaten… I was rooting for the mouse!
Poor little guy!
Personally, I wouldn’t ever set traps for them… but then, I don’t live in an area with a huge rat or mouse problem, so I’ve never learned the horror of an infestation…
I’d save the mouse… then kill it in front of the cat so it’s more motivated to catch mice faster.
Joking. Seriously though, they can carry diseases and overrun your house unnaturally fast. By the time you call the exterminator and hang up, another 20,000 have already formed!
there are many natural ways to keep mice out of your home without calling an exterminator.
Yes. Like cats.
Flush it out so that the cat can more easily catch it.
Having a debate at work where they are setting out “humane” traps to catch a mouse. It’s a disease-carrying rodent! I’ve offered to bring my mouse-hunting feline in for a few days but been turned down.
I’d clean my windowsill first, and then decide.
It’s a mouse. It’s in the house. I’m for the cat. Go, Kitty, Go!
Exterminate both creatures.
Owww, how cute. I would keep it & make it become my slave.
I usually drop a towel over the mouse then throw outside. It’s just easier than cleaning up after the cat gets it.
