Certainly a little different ! But might be worth a go
The reason kids (or anyone) get bad posture when sitting at desks is that it puts strain on the eyes to constantly look directly downwards for prolonged periods of time.
It might look presentable to have good posture, but having good eyesight is cheaper.
2 even easier ways:
1) model good posture yourself.
2) set up your home and furniture to make good posture inevitable, not requiring special effort to maintain.
Why not get decent desk and chair instead? And why do we need perfect straight posture anyways? This “simple way” seems very silly, stupid and maybe even harmful…
Forehead ribbon burns and waffle hair. Poor child.
Second theory: He’s a narcoleptic, and after several black eyes caused by his head dropping to his pencil, this caring, thoughtful mother devised an ingenious way to save her child from his inevitable Joker-ing.
