Store manager drives off knife-wielding thief by throwing cases of beer at him
This past weekend, a would-be robber slunk into a convenience store in Brentwood, Essex and demanded that the clerk open the till, threatening her with a knife.
Meanwhile, the store manager was taking a break. When he heard the thief say to open the cash register, he thought it was one of their regular customers joking around. But then he saw what was actually happening on the security monitor in the back room and immediately came charging out to take care of business…

“Never bring a knife to a beer-case fight….”
nice!
It’s kind of crazy how the robber still tries to advance on the manager a couple times while being pelted with beer cases before turning tail and running.
Second best use for a case of beer.
hank hill would not appreciate beer being used in such a manner
Beer – not just for drinking.
It’s not beer – it’s Strongbow cider, and that’s the best use I’ve seen for the mass-produced chemically beverage. Then again, it probably makes a good industrial drain cleaner.
