Ape asks zoo visitors to give him a cracker he sees on the ground
An ape at the Welsh Mountain Zoo uses sign language to ask for a cracker that’s laying on the ground outside his enclosure. Unfortunately, the humans misunderstand…

aww I feel bad for him. he’s probably like “what an IDIOT!”
Stupid humans…
He’s saying the f()&(! cracker you moron the cracker !
He’s like, “They are taunting me. Those evil, evil people.”
The apes with the camera are morons. The other ape is using sign.
*WHY* is an ape that knows sign language in a public zoo?
Where else would be an ape that knows sign language, moron?
LOL!
That poor chimp!! You can see it all over his face! “stop mimicking me and give me the damn cracker!! Dumbass!!!”
Wrong wrong wrong
On so many levels
stupid man he is the cause of all pain
Meanwhile chimp no 2 steals your wallet, clones your cards, buys an SUV and robs a diamond store. Oldest trick in the (jungle) book.
Beat FTW
As much as I dislike primates of any kind, I still feel bad for this ape. Poor guy, he looks so desperate!
You are a primate…you hate humans too?
Well, I know if I mention the “E” word, it will launch a debate, soooo I’ll just say, I believe the Genesis account as oppose to what is being taught in schools :)
Being a primate has nothing to do with evolution, it has to do with how our genes compare to other animals. You don’t’ have to believe that a tiger and lion evolved from the same animal to appreciate the overlap of their genetic makeup. Classification has nothing to do with what you believe, it’s fact.
Actually it does. Taxonomy (classification) was originally about naming kinds, and identifying the animals by their kinds. Genesis says we reproduce by our kind. Just because we have common markers with apes doesn’t make us primates. And that said, tigers and lions likely did evolve from the same created kind (baramin). Creationism doesn’t discount evolution via natural selection. We just don’t try to look past the created kinds in the Garden and find one common ancestor.
I agree with you James, but that’s not what Anna was saying. I was only pointing out that classification deals with where we are NOW, and necessarily how we got here. Classifying humans as primates doesn’t automatically mean it’s because of evolution. That being said, I can appreciate someone who believes in creationism that doesn’t discount natural selection evolution. Too many cover there ears screaming “THIS IS HOW WE WERE MADE AND THIS IS HOW WE WILL ALWAYS BE”.
Thank you, Marci. Many Christians are not taught how to respond to “science” that denies God. It is unfortunate. Some become staunch believers in Evolution (molecules-to-man), others become “silly” Christians that deny science.
Me, I seek wisdom in the Word and seek to better understand the beauty of Creation.
I don’t know any sign language and it was still *quite* obvious to me what he wanted.
Can you imagine how badly the chimp wants to rip that idiot’s face & genitals off? What a dope!
