That WAS fast, but you’ll notice he didn’t take any fuel, only tires. Also, the crew was pre-positioned on both sides of the car. In most genres of racing, the crews must wait till the car stops before they rush around and get into position. But either way, this is pretty impressive.
come on, they do a LOT more than just “turn right” – I’d LOVE to see a Nascar driver try to drive a F1 or Touring track, I think they’d get confused at the first bend when their Nascar car loses grip on a corner and they slide off into the tires – then again, they are used to crashing every few races :-P

In F1 racing refuelling during the race doesn’t happen any more. Full set tire changes can be done in 2.5 seconds by the pit teams now.
I learn something new every day. So the cars are so fuel efficient, they can go a whole race on a tank? I want one of those!
Not only a full race but a full race at 100+ miles per hour….
Oh, only 100? I’m used to NASCAR, with speeds often approaching 200.
Yeah they do lots of strange things in F1…for example like turn right.
Seriously though F1 cars do approach 200mph on some tracks they also can see 5+ G’s in the corners.

How about NHRA where they can reach up to 320 MPH in a quarter mile?
Kind of like comparing the 100 meter dash to the marathon.
It took my computer longer to load the video than it did for them to change the tires.
DAAANNG!! Not a race follower, I was wondering what sci-fi movie this was from.
