1,000 years ago, the Vikings invaded the northwest of Spain. This is commemorated by the Spanish in Catoira every August with a muddy battle reenactment…

Afterward, they sit down to a happy picnic with plenty of wine and local seafood.

      That’s because they’re a really bad idea for hand-to-hand combat – it’s like handle for beheading. But they look scary…thank Wagner.
