Cactus. Now considered a tree
We have the top one in our town. We always make fun of it.
We call them Frankentrees.
Somehow, these are uglier than if they had just left the tower exposed.
We have one of these by my house. It’s an eyesore because it is taller than anything else around. And it looks ridiculous.
Some of them don’t look that bad, others are completely ridiculous.

They’ve finally redone it in the last few days, not much better, but on par with some of the ones listed above.
Awesome its great and environment friendly

Palms are not technically trees either, and cacti, well…
