    Actually, it *is* just possible to tell the cards apart via the shadowing – particularly the bottom left shadow on the top right piece of card… Still quite impressive, though!

    I think the shading is what makes his drawing the most impressive. The “regular” art on the cards, while not easy, is less difficult than the shading, which is absolutely amazing. I think the shadows sell it!
