“A Christmas Story 2″ is a thing. And it looks as bad as you’d imagine…
This Christmas, a sequel to “A Christmas Story” is coming out.
My interest in bizarre content and my lack of interest in wasting your time are in conflict as I post this. I am going to pass the tension off to you and let you make your own decision — I am embedding this ridiculous video here, but I also suggest not watching it…

No.
Correct.
This.
ouch
Why would they do such a terrible thing?
NONONONONONONONONONONONONONONONONONONONONONONONONONONONONONONONONONONONO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! NO!
This is a joke right?
OK, if I’m not mistaken, this trailer implies this gem of a movie is going straight-to-video and isn’t getting a theatrical release. Is that right? If so, that shows a severe lack of faith in it.
I didn’t like the first one, and this one looks dumber still.
This is actually the third Christmas Story movie.
There was a sequel in ’94 called “It Runs in the Family” which was the same family (all different actors) during the summer. Something about a spinning top competition and hillbillies.
Blasphemy.
A Christmas Story and It Runs in the Family (a.k.a. My Summer Story) were taken from a book of short stories by Jean Shepherd entitled In God We Trust, All Others Pay Cash. Shepherd narrated both movies and helped write the screenplays. This “sequel” doesn’t look like it has anything to do with Shepherd’s stories.
Looks very unfunny.
i’ve never wanted a time machine more in my life to go back and decide not to watch that preview….
but in the spirit of turning bad into good, i know now i won’t even consider watching the entire movie/putting poison on my eyes and ears.
Dear Hollywood, Leave perfectly good movies alone. No crap sequels, no remakes. Stop it right now.
whoa, NOT cool
Christmas Story is indeed a true classic and to have this piece of garbage in anyway associated with it? Going straight to video is the only way they feel they have any chance of making any money from it. I am surprised that they aren’t making them “burn to order”, because when it comes down to it, they will probably wont even be able to give it away.
