Indian movie-goers absolutely freak out during a climactic fight scene
OK — We need to hear from some folks who have been to movies in India. Is this normal?

Wow – that puts the way we watched “The Return of the King” to shame.
Hahahaha in some places, it is! People there tend to get really excited and will whoop and holler during parts that they like (and don’t like!). I’ve only seen a movie in India a couple times, but both times, people were cheering during songs and clapping when the bad guys loses! So to answer your question, yep, this is normal!
Absolutely not! This is not how people watch movies in India. Well personally I never witnessed or heard such a thing before.
This kind of passion and non-slim hero point to the possibility of this being filmed in Tamil Nadu.

Apparently, i guess this was a “First Day First Show”, the premiere of the movie and the audience tend to get a li’l feverish :)
