Daredevils swim up to molten lava for unprecedented photographs [7 pictures]

There are innumerable photographs of volcanos and lava, but none like the ones by Nick Selway and C. J. Kale. These crazy guys capture a new perspective on Hawaii’s molten lava that flows into the ocean by swimming to where the collision actually takes place, despite the heat of the water and the risk of simultaneously burning and drowning…

By braving the 110-degree water and putting their lives in danger, they are able to share images like these…
