To call this an “explanation” of genetics is a bit of an exaggeration, since a 4-minute cartoon will only negligibly increase your knowledge of the unfathomably complicated science of genes. But even if you don’t know much more about genetics after watching it, you will know more about how little you know, and that’s helpful, too…

I was particularly pleased to see inclusion of Rosalind Franklin with Crick and Watson. There was a time when her critical contributions to the parsing of the structure of DNA were overlooked.
