That last one is a daunting thought.
Agreed. The last one is indeed daunting, but it’s something we all need to remember as we go through our lives. We are not the center of the universe, nor are we really “important” in a historical sense. The majority of us, at least. It’s a sobering fact, but a necessary one. People who think they’re miss or Mr. Popular with their Twitter & Facebook posts….well, I hate to tell ya…you’re still no one! It’s something to aspire to, to actually make a name for yourself. Do something to change the world in a good way!
The fact is, the only reason people would like these images is just because they’re different from all the BS inspirational quotes that everyone posts all the time. No human can actually believe in all of this and not be clinically depressed, otherwise they would have no reason to get up in the morning. Everyone IS the center of the universe: their own universe. And every person in the world has no idea what life is really like outside of their own mind, they only have the one perspective. This forces everyone to be just a little narcissistic, which is a good thing. Cliche, inspirational quotes that you see all the time are important not for their true meaning, but the effect they have on the mind of the reader, and collectively we all advance as a race with this mindset.
Not sure if serious…
Stuff it, Corban.
He has a point.
If people don’t have any confidence, they’re more likely to off themselves. Heck, just look at Korea and Japan.
Apropos of huh?
Nothing like a cat to bring you back down to earth. Mine do it on a daily basis :)
….This is why I’m a dog person.
The last one isn’t necessarily true. I trace family history and know the names of my ancestors from that far back
Here’s what Miles Davis did: he killed the first cat, took the second as an axiom, pimped the third massively, couldn’t care two shits about the others, and as a consequence made the final one invalid.
