    Remarkable women. A moment of impatience at 2:53 when the interpreter rolls her eyes a little because Ms. Keller talks over her.

    I know a family of deaf people, whose grandmother first and then the father suffered macular degeneration in addition to their deafness. They have to communicate this same way, by signing into each other’s hands. It’s incredible to watch.

    I wonder how she knows that her manner of speaking is “abnormal”? Has someone simply told her so?
