Children cross a river balanced on a tube to get to school [4 pictures]

In addition to walking an hour each day to get to school, children in Rizal province of the Philippines have to cross a river that doesn’t have a bridge. In order to do this, they bring along inflated tire tubes which they try to stay dry on while they float across.
The community is petitioning for a bridge.
