Is it possible to pick it up and put it back into the ground again? If you secure it properly? It almost hurts to watch it. Thank God nobody seems to have got hurt.
Thanks for the Info, I searched the net and specialists aren’t too sure themselves. Some say you can, others say you can’t – damage to the very fine roots which the tree uses to extract nutrients seems to be almost instant, and securing the tree again poses a usually insurmountable problem. Shame, really. i hope people with fallen trees receive all the help they need.
