    Those are amazing. Are you born with that kind of talent or is it learned? Either way I missed out.

      Little of both helps, mainly realism art comes from a lot of time spent observing the way colors and shapes work together on different textures, and then figuring out how to make what you see with the tools you have.
      Of course being right-brain dominant helps :P

    This makes me think of my sister. She’s terrified of owls. She says the forward facing eyes make them seem “eerily human but not quite enough that it’s endearing.” I kind of can understand that after seeing these pictures I can kind of understand it, but I find them more fascinating than scary.
