Also interesting: This song has at least four references to the Americas, two specifically North American. How did it end up as an Australian, three-minute-long PSA?

I don’t think any of the ways to die were uniquely American or even nation related. They are all just…dumb ways to die.
Grizzly Bear, Moose. Rattlesnakes are of the Americas, as are Piranhas. Unless you’re at a zoo, that’s where you’d have to be to die as dumbly.

Just a pre-emptive comment to those that raise the insensitivity of this ad:
I understand people who have had others affected by any of the ‘dumb ways to die’ might find it offensive. But going by that logic as to not ‘offend’ people, the entertainment industry might as well stop making movies and tv shows that have any kind of death, such as war themed movies.
