African wildlife from the perspective of the ground [14 pictures]

In his book Serengeti Spy, photographer Anup Shah set up remote controlled cameras disguised as part of the natural environment in various spots across the plains in Africa. He operated the camera, framing and taking the pictures, from a vehicle a safe distance away.

Those animals that seem to know the camera is there have heard the sound of the pictures being taken and are inspecting this curious, unfamiliar sound…
