Extremely close up photos of seals’ teeth and noses [10 pictures]

Underwater wildlife photographer Adam Hanlon went diving by the Farne Islands off the coast of Northumberland, England and encountered two inquisitive seals. The animals were very interested in their own reflections in Hanlon’s big lens. First they just stared at themselves, but then they approached the glass and nipped at it a bit, allowing Hanlon to capture unusually close-up photos…

I guess I knew in the back of my mind, but it was startling to see that seals have teeth — sharp, pointy teeth. It’s like… awww, cute faces! ~scroll a bit~ OMG!!!! TEETH FROM HELL!!!
