    Put an iPad in place of the shoes, and “maybe” you have today’s kids, though they may still be complaining that it’s not the best model.

    This is a beautiful photograph. This little boy lost everything, yet something as simple as a new pair of shoes brings pure joy to him. Look at that precious face. I hope he had a long and happy life.

    I just watched the film ‘Oranges and Sunshine’, I hope this kid wasn’t one of those ‘orphans’…. A really hard hitting film of a true story.

    Oh, I just read it again (sleepy eyes!) and I see it says Austrian….in which case he has nothing to do with the film! Oops.
