   These are fun and funny. As a bit of a historian, however, I must say that it misrepresents Puritans. Though they had traditional gender roles, they enjoyed the pleasures of life in a healthy way. Other factors in history brought prudishness to its zenith after the heyday of the Puritans had already come and been long gone. Ridicule is better doled out to Victorian era sensibilities that Puritanical ones. Just saying…

   Yeah, funny, but I have to agree with Seth. Sounds more Victorian.

   The Puritans were known for huge books and huge parties.
