Eerie portraits of retired ventriloquist dummies [12 pictures]

In photographer Matthew Rolston’s book Talking Heads, he captures the shabby, resigned, and eternally wide-eyed faces of the dummies used by yesteryear’s ventriloquists. He found his subjects at Kentucky’s Vent Haven Museum, “the world’s only museum dedicated to the art of ventriloquism.” Here’s a selection…
