Budweiser’s equable self-defense in response to accusations of watery beer
After being accused recently of watering down their beer, Budweiser responded with this full-page ad in several major newspapers…
There is still plenty of fodder here for the beer snobs who will make fun of macrobrews no matter what, but all in all this seems like a pretty great PR win for Budweiser.

It’s not that Bud is bad, it’s just that its not good. Especially when compared to some of the great craft brews you can find nearly everywhere. But go ahead, drink your Bud & Bud light. If you like it, it’s good beer to you.
They sent that to Louisiana after Hurricanes Katrina and Rita. We called it Budwater.
After some insane storms in WV this summer, they brought a bunch to my town. Someone started a rumor that they were giving out free beer, so tons of people flocked in from the boonies only to realize that it was water.
