1. I’ll show you how to subscribe to blogs if you don’t already know. It’ll just take 5 minutes.
2. More than 90% of people online still don’t use RSS. Subscribing will put you ahead of the curve.
3. You can read as many blogs as you want in just one place.
4. You won’t have to waste brain space remembering to check to see if there’s anything new here.
5. You already know this, but I’ll say it anyway: Subscribing is completely free.
6. It’s not just money-free, it’s risk-free, too. Give it a shot and then easily unsubscribe if you don’t like it.
7. You don’t have to give any personal information to subscribe by RSS.
8. I’ll never misuse or share your address if you subscribe by email.
9. If you subscribe and don’t like it, I’ll happily listen to your criticism.
10. For better or worse, this blog will be different from all your other feeds.
11. You can trust that I will never ramble on and on and clutter up your feedreader.
12. You’ll never miss essential content about Taiwanese lamb bones or Orison’s latest hit single. Yes, I said essential.
13. I’ll try to post 1 to 3 reasons per day to smile or say “Hmm, I’m not so sure about that.”
14. Subscribing lets you know automatically when you need to quick hop online and set me straight.
15. Potential water cooler and dinner table discussion topics will be as close as your feedreader or inbox.
16. Reading blogs in your feedreader or inbox looks more like legit business than surfing the net. (This matters when your boss sneaks up behind you.)
17. Subscribing is like casting a vote for my credibility. (I suppose this might be a reason to not subscribe. Oh well.)
18. A few hundred other people think subscribing to 22 words is a good idea, too.
19. You’ll be joining a thoughtful, intelligent community. (I’m regularly impressed by the quality content added by commenters here.)
20. Your subscription lets me know I’m doing something right. (Or maybe I’m doing something wrong and you’re subscribed so you can know your enemy. That’s fine, too.)
