About the Blog

Abraham Piper began 22 Words in February 2008. For about 2 years, each post was either 22 words long or a list of 22 things. In April, 2010, this restriction was removed. Posts now average 0-150 words.

For the first 2 years the blog averaged 2 posts  a day. Now, with the word count restriction lifted, you will find 3-5 posts each weekday.

Topics are wide-ranging, but the most regular revolve around parenting, language, faith, arts, and attempts at humor.

The goal is to daily offer thoughts that provoke thought or laughter and hopefully result in valuable conversations whether in the comments, at the water cooler, or around the dinner table.
