    Hey! I’ve seen things like this also in the Ardennes over here in Belgium! There’s even a US jeep with threes growing through it :)

    And if you want some WO1 stuff, just buy a cheap metals detector and go digging in Ieper. Half a hour of digging gives you dozens of artefacts. But you can’t keep the bones, you can deposit those at the town hall.
    And as a kid, my dad took me to Normandie to look for WO2 artefacts. The stuff you dig up is sometimes very awesome. And the number of rusty bajonettes we dug up over there filled up a box that my dad now still keeps in his attick.

    I think I’m going to look these things back up, those where nice memories.
