Autotuned version of that awesome NASCAR prayer

July 28, 2011 | By Abraham | 14 comments

If you haven’t seen the best corporate prayer to ever go viral, go check it out.

Now here’s the songified version…

I do believe “boogity” has just entered the the lexicon. Amen.

[Update: I've been alerted to the fact that "boogity" is a common NASCAR word and for me to say it just entered the lexicon shows "just how little I actually know about the phrase." Indeed it does. I feel so ashamed.]

If you have ever watched a NASCAR race you’llknow that Darrell Waltrip one the announcers says “Boogity! Boogity! Boogity! LETS GO RACING BOYS!” as the cars exit the last turn on their last warm up lap and come across the Start/Finish line at the green flag. He also had his crew chief use this when he was a driver instead of “Green, green, green”. Boogity has been in NASCAR fans vocabulary long before before this. So to say it’s just entered shows how little you actually about the phrase.

      You Rob-

If you know Abraham- you’d know that NASCAR trivia would be the last thing he’s up on… I was going to say the same thing, but nicer.

You do realize the kid lives as far North as the states come without being in Canada?

      :)

Yes, it sure does show how little I know about NASCAR jargon. Surprise, surprise.

In fact, there are a lot of things I know very little about. Strange, huh?

SCHOOLED! By a NASCAR fan. I’d say what getting schooled by a NASCAR fan is like, but I’m pretty sure they wouldn’t get it. ZING! ;)

Thanks for the update. I felt extremely ignorant about not understanding the “boogity” part in the last video, and I grew up in a redneck family and my closest friends were all rednecks.
