Normally the most interesting thing about a recipe for a rainbow cake would be seeing this amazing rainbow cake that looks like it belongs on some fancy Pinterest page.
I mean, it’s a brick-shaped cake, sheathed in rainbow-colored fondant, with a kaleidoscopic number baked into the middle of it.
That is, however, assuming that people are normal and that they wouldn’t go bat crap crazy in the comment section busting out politics and personal insults that are not sugar-coated in any way.
While the original post was taken down from a radio station in Melbourne, Australia, screenshots live in infamy…
First of all, "Baked it before" has a suggestion, down in the comments:
So you assemble the cake partway, freeze it, then proceed. Good tip! That is a good, constructive internet conversation right there.
High five, everybody!
But Irene has a question:
A little snarky, but gets the point across.
Also, they apparently don’t know what “rhetorical” means, but the point is it was a fun little Internet moment.
Ask a silly question, get a silly slightly inaccurate comment.
Didn't go over well. SHOTS FIRED.
