It’s here! It’s finally here!
Fuller House, the reboot of the 90s sitcom classic Full House, is finally up and ready for binging on Netflix.
And the theme song even got a makeover from a familiar pop princess.
“Call Me Maybe” singer Carly Rae Jepson “jumped at the chance” to record the new theme song, she told ABC News.
The song has her trademark modern, poppy elements, which brings it into the 21st century.
“We are sticking to the original tune. I think it would be a shame to not be singing that song,” Jepson told ABC News. “I got to work with the guy who wrote the song and it’s just a little bit more stripped-down. They’ve got some acoustic guitars. We made a point of not going too pop with it, and, if anything, kind of pulling back from that.”
While it’s no replacement for the original, you have to admit that Rae really did the song justice!
