From the show Outnumbered, which I now intend to watch the heck out of after I find it free online somewhere…

(via Texas in Africa)

  1. Paul Huxley says:

I feel an obligation to point out that although the scenarios in the show are scripted, the dialogue is improvised (even/particularly by the children)

    1. Barnabas says:

Absolutely not. But that, I suppose, is part of the genius. Irish accents would be an even greater improvement.

  2. jennapants says:

oh, these children were simply brilliant. did i just watch 10 minutes of this show on youtube with my three-year-old? maybe.

i wondered about the accents as well. hm. i think it would be as funny, but not as endearing. that little girl is my new favorite actor.

  3. Erin says:

Cute, but still I almost stopped watching halfway through… So glad I didn’t, though; the polar bear bit is the best part! “He would zap him.”

  4. rach says:

    I love this show!

Would love to know what you think after seeing more of it too – made my american flatmate watch it and she just didn’t get it. I wondered if the humour was just too british but maybe not after all

  5. Becky says:

Oh! My daughter auditioned for an American version of this show two years ago, and nothing ever came of it. Let me just say, I thought the script was nothing w/o the adorable British accents of the Children!
