Crosswalk sign successfully encourages pedestrians to do Monty Python’s silly walk

No, this isn’t the work of some prankster. The city of Ørje, Norway, has actually installed official crosswalk signs encouraging people to cross the street while doing silly walks from the Monty Python “Ministry of Silly Walks” sketch.

Of course, the signs don’t comply with national traffic sign regulations, but as the town’s mayor points out, “You cannot just be square, right?”
